Killing Method: The twins will target the people, who have been mocking them and getting in their way. They murder their victims in the middle of the night, by first stabbing them in the back multiple times. After their victim is dead, they decapitate them using a cleaver and wrap their heads in a towel, taking them home as a trophy.

Personality: Both Laura and Flora see people as mere animals, and despise being called “freaks” or “weird” and being judged. Laura is serious, and withdrawn ,while Flora is a more calm, cunning and mellow person, who is somewhat protective of her sister.  That they don’t show their signs of psychopathic behavior to others. And they don't feel remorse when killing a victim but instead felt pleasure or pleased by it.

Additionally, they can communicate with each other using telepathy. They frequently fight and argue whenever they fail to slay their target, lose their job or their place to stay, often pulling each other’s hair, punching each other or – in worst cases – strangling each other.

Backstory: 

The Hutchinson twins were born in Bradford, Yorkshire. Unfortunately, they were seen as a disgrace to their family by virtue of their odd physical features, since the Hutchinsons were nobles, and it would have been seen as disgraceful to have descendants with such anomalies.
They had already been sent to complement the routine at a circus by their parents by the time they were 2 years old, and became performers by the age of 9. Even at this early age, they had to face judgmental comments from the audience, who would call them “freaks” or say how bad they were at entertaining people. By the age 14 this is when they became antisocial, and took up reading books and writing.

By the age of 17, the Hutchinson twins decided, that they wanted to move to London, seeking a normal life and job(in their perspective). Using some money, which they had stolen from other performers, they finally made their escape, and changed their names to Laura and Flora Hopkins before embarking on a new journey in life.

Upon their arrival to London, they commenced to look for a job as well as a place to stay, although most employers were unable to hire them by reason of their abnormal appearance and lack of skills. About 2 weeks later, Mr. Thompson, the owner of an inn, hired them to work as chambermaids– which they were very happy about. However, they would often receive strange looks from fellow employees, which made them feel uncomfortable and irritated.

After having worked 2 years in the inn, Laura and Flora asked Mr. Thompson for some additional money, as their current means were insufficient to cover costs of living, although he refused to address their request. Nonetheless, the twins tried to persuade him, unto the point that he became irate, Mr. Thompson chastised them for allegedly underperforming in their job and questioned why they could not resume their career as performers in a circus. Pixilated by Mr. Thompson’s response, the twins were momentarily left speechless. Flora then decided that they shall voluntarily quit the job by morning, and they left their director’s office with these words, vexed by their employer’s conduct towards them.

After they left their employer’s inn, the twins started contemplating the murder of Mr. Thompson, which was to be effected by poisoning him with Arsenic - purchased at night. Their intention was that they would talk to Mr. Thompson, and that he would give them their salary. Prior to entering the room, the twins added Arsenic powder to Mr. Thompson’s drink, which had been left in its usual place by another employee. Afterwards, they left Mr. Thompson’s office with their salary in their hands, where they saw Ms. Tattler holding the poisoned drink, which she had given to Mr. Thompson.

About 4 days later, an inspector interrogated Laura and Flora regarding Mr. Thompson’s decease - which the twins professed to have been surprised by - but they falsely incriminated Ms. Tattler, the last time them being witnesses to her serving Mr. Thompson a drink being undeniable evidence of their co-worker's guilt

The twins became killers by age 23, and, by this point, they could no longer bear being mistreated and being seen as misfits in society, avenging their poor treatment by dealing with others as though they were animals. Unfortunately, however, they could not completely segregate themselves from the general public, as they had to pay their rent, and the money they stole from their victims was insufficient.

Finally, a man named Mr. Scott hired Laura and Flora to work as seamstresses at his Dress shop. Having earned their ignominy as killers by age 26, Laura and Flora were now seen as a nationwide threat. The news were plastered with the alias “Headhunter” - their new sobriquet - due to their methods of killing their victims. They were captured at age 32, after an inspector discovered their crimes. At the court, they confessed to their crimes, as well as the murder of over 20 victims, among them - their former employer Mr. Thompson. Charged with murder, and they were banished to a mental health institution.

On January 26, 1903, the Hopkins twins died in the middle of shock therapy at the Colney Hatch Lunatic Asylum.

Trivia:

    -           The twins’ design was inspired by the figures Jack the Ripper, while their physical appearance was influenced by the characters Bette and Dot, from the show American Horror Story: Freakshow.

    -           Around 10 years of being a killer, Laura and Flora have collected 12 human heads, including children’s heads            

    -          The reason why the twins could not have been seized by authorities during the night was the reduced visibility due to the dense smog in London, associated with the Victorian times. This also happens to be the reason why the infamous serial killer Jack the Ripper could not be captured.

    -          During the Victorian Era, Arsenic wasn’t known as a poisonous chemical, they used it as beauty product just to make their face look younger(it can remove freckles and dent), and this can also use to color the dress and wallpaper green it is also known as "Scheele’s Green".
